Audio-Technica ATH-AD300
$51.00
The Pros:Sit very gently and comfortably on the head/over the ears. Well-priced for the quality of audio, velvet earpads. Audio is very well-balanced, bright.
The Cons:Fly off pretty easily since they don't grip the head much. Looseness and lack of tightness adjusting don't allow for any noise isolation whatsoever--not very good for use on public transportation. Open and quite large - not for use on the go, or for taking with.
The cheapest and least well known brother of the acclaimed Audio-Technica ATH-AD700/900 the Audio-Technica ATH-AD300 is a lower priced circum-aural headphone. Presenting a dark, non-fatiguing listening experience, the ATH-AD300 is also very comfortable, an important variable when considering a headphone.

Due to it's open design and large body, the ATH-AD300 is not a good option for travel or listening on the go. Rather, it is much better suited for use in a quieter environment for things such as gaming, watching TV or listening to music.

requires a quiet environment to sound their best (open design means you can hear everything around you, sound leaks out as well)
