The Pros:Good isolation from surrounding sounds in the room. Bass is clear, brings out the detail. Output limiter prevents the headphones from damaging themselves when input is outside the range it can reproduce.
The Cons:Not audiophile quality, bass isn't extremely deep and some minor tin in the highs.
The Audio Technica ATH-T22 are consumer level studio headphones, and are the lowest model of studiophones made available by Audio Technica. The lightweight self adjusting headband and padded ear cusions provide comfort for long hours of comfortable listening.

The circumarual closed earphones can be rotated to allow easy one-ear monitoring. The 9.8' (3.0m) y-split cable has a 1/8" plug with included snap on 1/4" adaptor. They are powered by proprietary 40mm drivers, and have an overall weight of only 6 ounces. The ATH-T22 have a frequency response of 20-22,000 Hz.
