Creative Fatal1ty Professional Series Gaming Headset
$100.00
Released January, 2006
The Pros:Very comfortable. Great mic. Good positional recognition.
The Cons:SQ not very good for music. Hard to come by. Extremely gaudy Fatal1ty branding on every part of the headset - not just a single, tasteful signature / logo.
The Creative Fatal1ty Professional Series Gaming Headset is one of many Fatal1ty branded accessories by Creative. While the SQ is not its focus (that's the case with most headsets though), it is a gaming headset with more emphasis placed on comfort and what Creative claims is a "military grade" microphone.

As mentioned, the SQ is respectable with adequate positional recognition. Just don't expect this to match dedicated audiophile headphones when listening to your music collection. The headset goes for around $90 in most places and that's not a bad price, but it can be had for around $40 at online stores and sometimes even as low as $20 at Creative's site.
