The Cons:Much more expensive than the D-5000! Almost double! May still be poorly put together much like the AH-D5000. Still non-suiteble for classical and acoustic music. Despite of having more tremble and providing larger stage, than AH-D5000, it's still lack of it in comparison with Audio-Technica ATH-W5000.
Officially introduced in August 2008 and scheduled to be released in October or November, the luxury AH-D7000 is Denon's new flagship headphone. Double the price of the D5000, the D7000 was only rumored to have existed until Denon France released images in June 2008 which quickly found their way onto the headphone enthusiast website head-fi.

Many of those interested in the D5000 and modification of it have expressed interest on exactly how Denon has improved the headphone, and whether or not they have included any originally home-brewed modifications.
