JVC HA-G101

$20.00 Released October, 2001

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Thick ear pads and comfortable design, most comfort you will find in a $20 set of over the ear headphones. Good construction and plastics with respect to the price, can take a few knocks. Buyers should keep in mind the low price of this pair of headphones when using them, the offer good value in terms of the overall package, albeit the disappointing sound quality.

The Cons:Poor out of the box sound, harsh trebles, and muddy bass. Buyers are better off with a cheap pair of earbuds, which will provide better sound quality for the price. Cable are connected to both sides as opposed to one, annoying to organise.

The JVC HA-G101 are full-sized headphones with a soft cushion that surrounds the ear for comfort and to block out external noise.  The headphones feature a super bass sound system and 40mm drivers for clear sound.

They have a 3m cord and a 3.5mm jack and come with a stereo plug adapter which gives them plug-and-play capabilities.  The main difference between the HA-G101 headphones and JVC's HA-V570 and HA-X570 DJ-style headphones is that they do not have pivoting earpieces like these two models and therefore are not designed for monitoring.
