JVC HA-RX900

$100.00 Released June, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:50mm Neodymium drivers. Acoustic Lenses located in front of the diaphragm/tune direct and indirect sound. Ring Port structure.

The JVC HA-RX900 are a pair of full sized headphones and the next step up from the HA-RX700. Both models have the same Circum-Aural design with a pressure dispersion mesh head pad and 50mm Neodymium drivers but this one has a better frequency response.

This can be attributed to the inclusion of Acoustic Lenses located in front of the diaphragm which tune direct and indirect sound by subtly offsetting holes in each lens. As with the RX700, a ring port structure has been used to provide better sound response as well. Slightly higher sensitivity and increased nominal impedance are also featured on this model while retaining the same cord length and head pad which makes for more comfortable extended listening sessions. There is no volume adjustment in the cord but these are built for home use anyway, where sound quality and bass response not to mention comfort are important.
