Koss R80

$50.00 Released May, 2003

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Excellent sound quality overall, detail and clarity are very good. Cable is sturdy, long, and comes with an adapter. Feels very light on your head, doesn't press down.

The Cons:Sits a little too loose on your head, hard to get it adjusted right. Midrange can get overwhelmed by an overly loud treble and bass. Lets in a lot of ambient noise as you listen.

The Koss R80 are full-sized stereo headphones with extra-large closed leatherette ear cushions and an adjustable padded headband to provide comfort while blocking external noise and enhancing bass frequencies.

The headphones feature neodymium boron magnet structures for accurate sound reproduction and a wider frequency response as well as oxygen-free copper voice coils for clear sound transmission.  They have an 8 ft detachable single-entry coiled cord with a 3.5 mm gold-plated plug and come with a 6.3 mm adapter.  The headphones also have pivoting earcups for monitoring and are backed by a lifetime warranty.  The Koss R80 are a step-up from the R10 headphones since they feature larger earcups, a wider frequency response range, and more flexible cord than the R10.
