The Panasonic RP-HTX7 model is an expensive, mid-grade headphone set designed with a classic old school headphone style. The headset is built for in-home and casual use, targeted at users of all ages who want to be able to listen to high quality music without interruption from surrounding ambient noise.

The soft fabric earpad covers are equipped with a Circum-Aural design that completely surrounds the ears. The RP-HTX7 headphones include large size 40mm diameter drive units, created to omit powerful bass and clear treble sound. The RP-HTX7 model also includes additional features such as a single side cord, a reinforced soft fabric headband, a gold mini stereo plug for maximum conductivity and high quality sound output, rare Neodymium earth magnets, and swivel, single side monitoring/listening support. In addition the RP-HTX7 is available in several different colors such as black, red, blue, yellow and white; and there is also a special Ryan Sheckler edition set adorned with Ryan's autograph and outlined in a slick fire engine red. The Panasonic RP-HTX7 model headphone set was released in August 2008, and has an MSRP of $59.99, which is listed on the official Panasonic website.
