Sennheiser HD 215

$160.00 Released February, 2005

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Impressive sense of spatial placement for sealed headphones. Mid and high frequencies are well represented. While somewhat under-represented, bass tones are very clean and clear--not at all muddy.

The Cons:Bass performance is a little on the weaker side compared to the mids and highs.

The Sennheiser HD 215 is a set of dynamic headphones designed especially for the Dj who wants function as well as good sound. Rotatable ear cups are essential for the dj to wear in different ways for performing different mixing functions.

Product Shot 2 Closed, circum-aural design means the headphones completely cover the ear, thus keeping sound in and ambient noise out, important for mixing in noisy environments. A protective pouch is included for storage and travel, and the cable is one-sided and detachable, only connecting to one side to power both speakers. These are the next step up from the more basic HD 205 Dj headphones and as such they have an improved Frequency Response and less Total Harmonic Distortion(THD). This means deeper bass and higher treble response as well as less distortion of the audio signal. The detachable cord is also an extra feature of the HD 215.
