Sennheiser PXC 350
$330.00
Released June, 2007
The Pros:Very sturdy build quality--feel like they could handle multiple drops with no problem. More of an open sound stage compared to most closed over-the-ear headphones--music often sounds like it's coming from all around you. Very comfortable--well-padded ear cups sits comfortably over the ear.
The Cons:Larger ear cups may not provide the best seal for those with smaller heads. Tend to favour the high-end--bass is a bit weaker than the mids and trebles. Require a pretty extensive burn-in period to really reach their peak performance.
The Sennheiser PXC 350 is a pair of closed, around-the-ear headphones designed for premium-grade noise cancellation meant to challenge its Bose Quiet Comfort series competitors. Using NoiseGard Advance technology, the headphones reduce ambient noise by up to 85%.

Also featured is a foldable design for easy storage, in-line volume controls, and two AAA batteries for achieving optimal noise cancellation. Overall, critics and consumers alike agree that the Sennheiser PXC 350 provides premium noise isolation with a crisp high-frequency response. However, customers seeking added bass would be better off with an open-backed design.
