Shure SRH240
$50.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:Made by a well-known IEM manufacturer. Affordable price. Blocks out some ambient background noise passively.
The Cons:A huge gap in sound & build quality between these and the 440 / 840. Shure are not known for their full sized headphones. Cheap packaging.
Shure's SRH240 is a lower mid-range set of headphones intended for use with most commercial media devices. They use 40mm neodymium drivers and have an around-the-ear design that reduces background noise and uses a comfortable padding.
