Shure SRH940

The Shure SRH940 is an upper mid-cost pair of over-the-ear headphones. For safe transport to and from DJing gigs, these headphones come with a zippered, hard case carrying bag. The SRH940's supra-aural design means that there are pads sitting on top of the ears rather than around them.

This design helps with sound isolation, and helps you to get a more precise mix. These headphones come with a threaded, quarter inch gold plated adapter, which is designed to be durable. This set of headphones differs from the lower cost SRH550DJ headphones in that this set has a premium padded headband (rather than just a ninety degree swiveling headband), two detachable cables (straight and coiled), a replacement set of velour ear pads, and a more precise frequency response (which boosts both bass and treble without distortion).
