Perhaps the most important difference is this model's powered amplification, which makes for studio-quality balanced bass, as well as exceptionally clear mids and highs.
To block out ambient sounds, this model is equipped with noise canceling technology. Once the headphone battery has run out of juice, you can also listen to music in passive mode, without the noise canceling. The on-ear design of these headphones helps to block out outside noise even when the battery is out. For a little flash in the DJ booth, the Signeo SOUL by Ludacris SL300 headphones are equipped with an illuminated earcup badge.
