Sony MDR-SA1000

$200.00 Released March, 2003

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Capable of very accurate sound reproduction. Bass is very tight and accurate, doesn't get boomy or muffled. Mids and highs are extremely clear and richly rendered.

The Cons:Low end is a little weak, will need some bass boost from the source. Hinges make a clicking noise when you move, goes away if you oil them. Cheap sound sources or highly compressed audio sounds dramatically poor, flaws become very apparent.

The Sony MDR-SA1000 is a high-end set of high definition sound producing headphones with a Circum-aural design (completely covers the ears) and a custom tailored headband to provide excellent listening comfort.
