Sony MDR-V6

$110.00 Released April, 2004

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Affordable per the great quality. Extremely long cord that doesn't tangle. Lightweight and compact.

The Cons:The foam padding on the speakers comes off after extended use, and are a pain to wrap back around. Get warm with prolonged use. On really high volumes, sound leaks out like crazy. Not the best headphone set for at-work use.

The Sony MDR-V6 is a high-end set of professional studio grade headphones with a Circum-Aural design (completely covers the ears) and a padded headband to provide excellent listening comfort. According to Sony the V6 headphones "produce deep, accurate bass and crisp highs and midrange tones".
