Sony MDR-XD200
$30.00
Released June, 2005
The Pros:Effectively seal the ear area, blocking out external noise. Very comfortable, don't crush the ears - designed for hours of comfortable use. Treble range is clear and detailed, almost perfect - studio quality sound.
The Cons:For those looking for strong, thumping bass, there isn't enough support here. Far too large for active outdoor wear. Too much movement creates an audible creaking sound in the plastic joins.
The Sony MDR-XD200 is a low-end set of "movie quality sound" headphones with a Circum-Aural design (completely covers the ears) and a tailored headband to provide excellent listening comfort.
